This spring and summer, the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland(farnsworthmuseum.org ) will be celebrating the life of Andrew Wyeth with “A Tribute to Andrew Wyeth” which will feature over 30 Maine paintings that span Wyeth’s career from the 1930’s to his most recent work.
In addition, starting May 16 and continuing through August 30, Jamie Wyeth’s “Seven Deadly Sins” will be shown for the first time since their premier in New York in 2007.
Also opening on May 16, will be a selection of illustrations and paintings of N.C. Wyeth, renowned as one of America’s foremost illustrators.

You don’t have to be # 1! Nina Wildorf, Editor -in- Chief of Budget Travel Magazine, announced this morning on CBS, The Early Show that Rockland, Maine was voted the #2 Coolest Small Town in America. As an aside, she did say Rockland was a personal favorite.
This is a pretty big deal! People all across the USA watched the nomination this morning and took note. The Lime Rock Inn received a reservation during the segment and the phone at the Chamber has been ringing off the hook. Congratulations Rockland! You are a cool town!
